Two lines merging at a common point
Two beings merging into a marriage joint
Relationships of lines, solids, surfaces, and angles
Relationships of love tangles
Relationships of gold and diamond dangles
Configuration, arrangement
Dating, engagement
Wedding, combinement
An angle of life
An angle of becoming husband and wife

AU SUIVANT
by Rod McKuen
_______________
Time does its dance again.
Out of focus,
out of frame.
Clicking in and out
time.
The circle now completes itself.
I regret nothing.
I expect the next experience will be
the lasting final one.

CONSUMED
by Joe Simmons
_______________
I look into your furnace eyes,
my senses are consumed
and I fall, effortless
into a spiraled doom.
How do you bend me to your will
with promised passion's kiss,
then reel me closer for a kill,
steel me with your lips?
Like a spaceman I kept falling
through an empty endless sky,
lost until I heard you calling

GOODBYE
by K. Jess Thiel
_______________
This morning I feel real sad
Longing for what we once had
With keen hind sight from deep within
I wonder what could have been
So many times I hurt you bad
So many times you made me mad
I didn't show you what I felt at heart
So now I know that we must part
Now it hurts deep inside
That you are no longer at my side
I now must learn to live my life
Without you as my wife
This morning I'm also glad
For the good times we once had
Our love it was grand
When we'd walk hand-in-hand
We have three children from our love
Little Dani is a dove
Richard we call him rat
He is funny like cat in hat
Stacy has grown so tall
She's most precious of them all
Through them I know we'll still exist
Helping them grow is what I'll most miss
It was 14 years we stayed together
Full of love and laughter and stormy weather
You wanted me out, my heart was torn
But today I no longer mourn
For a love that's dead and gone
It is like a beautiful old love song
With the dying of my scorn
My heart is now reborn
I know someday I'll find another
To share my heart and my hunger
For I can no longer stagnate
She'll share my life as a soulmate
Goodbye to you I now will say
And have a very joyous day
Eternally my Love

Loneliness For Love
by WiLdCaT
_______________
The loneliness is getting to me.
I can't stand this, not having love by my side.
Nobody can imagine the emptiness that sits inside of me.
So many times I have reached my hand into the air
in hopes that someone will take my hand and pull me to their chest.
But all I can feel is the cold breeze of nothing across my fingertips.
As I pull my hand to my chest, empty, a hot tear rolls down my cheek.
I look up and see couples with their arms around each other.
Passionate hugs and kisses are exchanged,
emotional words of love are whispered.
I close my eyes and cross my arms across my chest.
Slowly I turn away, hoping to hear my name called,
no sound but my faint whimper is heard.
I amble my way home and turn on the television
in hopes to get lost love off my mind.
Every channel is soaked with that word "LOVE".
I lay in bed trying to sleep.
Wishing I had somebody laying beside me.
I turn over and wrap my arms around a stuffed bear.
In my mind I say, "At least I have you to love",
and cry myself to sleep.
