A POSSITIVE ATTITUDE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Before you say "I can´t,"

make sure you´ve already tried.

Before you let doubts stop you,

confront them with facts.

Before reasons convince you it´s imposible,

Puersue the one reason that

makes it possible.

Before failure enters your mind,

hide success in your heart.

Before fear holds you back,

go forward with faith.

Before problems interfere with your plans,

use them to accomplish your goals.

Before you hold back becouse you think

others are better,

show them what is winner you are.

Before you settle for less,

Hold on to what is most important.

Before you believe there is no way,

Keep going and you´ll make one.

Before you give up,

Be at peace inside.

Before you dismiss your dreams,

Wait until they´ve come true.

Before you go looking for happiness,

Make your own where you are!.

NATURE

TWILIGHT
August 1981
_______________

The sun descends beyond the bay
The sky begins its change
Purple, pink and shades of orange
Enjoy them while you can
Pretend that this will be the last
It very well may be
Until the next twilight becomes
The last sunset again

TO REALLY SEE
October 1981
_______________

To feel the sand below my feet
As I walk down my private beach.

People are here, but I don't see.
I am alone, me and the sea.

The sand is warm. The sky is blue.
I walk along in solitude.

A seagull flies above my head.
The sun descends and turns to red.

Others don't see and they don't care.
Next weekend they will all be there.
Taking for granted what has been made.
To them it's just another day.

Those who really see all this
Should someday make a little wish
That things will stay the way they are
So that our young can see the stars.

SONGS OF NATURE
October 1981
_______________

    Nature sings to me
I love to hear its sounds
    It sings of wild flowers
    And mountain peaks
    And bubbling streams

    It tells me of life
    Beginning to end
    Start to finish
    First to last

    Listen closely

There may be a part for you

    In nature

FRIENDS

AN ANGLE

by Monique Nicole Fox

_______________

Two lines merging at a common point
Two beings merging into a marriage joint

Relationships of lines, solids, surfaces, and angles
Relationships of love tangles
Relationships of gold and diamond dangles

Configuration, arrangement
Dating, engagement
Wedding, combinement

An angle of life
An angle of becoming husband and wife

AU SUIVANT

by Rod McKuen

_______________

Time does its dance again.
Out of focus,
out of frame.
Clicking in and out
time.

The circle now completes itself.
I regret nothing.
I expect the next experience will be
the lasting final one.

CONSUMED

by Joe Simmons

_______________

I look into your furnace eyes,
my senses are consumed
and I fall, effortless
into a spiraled doom.
How do you bend me to your will
with promised passion's kiss,
then reel me closer for a kill,
steel me with your lips?
Like a spaceman I kept falling
through an empty endless sky,
lost until I heard you calling

GOODBYE

by K. Jess Thiel

_______________

This morning I feel real sad
Longing for what we once had
With keen hind sight from deep within
I wonder what could have been

So many times I hurt you bad
So many times you made me mad
I didn't show you what I felt at heart
So now I know that we must part

Now it hurts deep inside
That you are no longer at my side
I now must learn to live my life
Without you as my wife

This morning I'm also glad
For the good times we once had
Our love it was grand
When we'd walk hand-in-hand

We have three children from our love
Little Dani is a dove
Richard we call him rat
He is funny like cat in hat
Stacy has grown so tall
She's most precious of them all
Through them I know we'll still exist
Helping them grow is what I'll most miss

It was 14 years we stayed together
Full of love and laughter and stormy weather
You wanted me out, my heart was torn
But today I no longer mourn
For a love that's dead and gone
It is like a beautiful old love song
With the dying of my scorn
My heart is now reborn

I know someday I'll find another
To share my heart and my hunger
For I can no longer stagnate
She'll share my life as a soulmate
Goodbye to you I now will say
And have a very joyous day

Eternally my Love

Loneliness For Love

by WiLdCaT

_______________

The loneliness is getting to me.
I can't stand this, not having love by my side.
Nobody can imagine the emptiness that sits inside of me.
So many times I have reached my hand into the air
in hopes that someone will take my hand and pull me to their chest.
But all I can feel is the cold breeze of nothing across my fingertips.
As I pull my hand to my chest, empty, a hot tear rolls down my cheek.
I look up and see couples with their arms around each other.
Passionate hugs and kisses are exchanged,
emotional words of love are whispered.
I close my eyes and cross my arms across my chest.
Slowly I turn away, hoping to hear my name called,
no sound but my faint whimper is heard.
I amble my way home and turn on the television
in hopes to get lost love off my mind.
Every channel is soaked with that word "LOVE".
I lay in bed trying to sleep.
Wishing I had somebody laying beside me.
I turn over and wrap my arms around a stuffed bear.
In my mind I say, "At least I have you to love",
and cry myself to sleep.

ALONE

January 1982
_______________

If you only knew
What it's like for me
Sitting alone

Alone again

I hear a car
I pray it's you
It couldn't be

I miss you so

When morning comes
I wait for you
Thinking of us

Together

Hold me tight
And don't let go

I love you so much

A TRUE COURSE

August 1998
_______________

Confusion grows
Feelings are hard
To understand

Which way to turn?
Where shall I go?
Please take my hand

Whether to go
Towards north or south
Which road to take?

If I get lost
Who will correct
This course mistake?

Though south I go
I wonder why
My heart just seems
To be drawn north
Is that the place
I'll find my dreams?

Use compass
And sextant
To make my chart
So that I may
Navigate to
Find my heart

BOOK OF LOVE

November 1990
_______________

Words alone could not express
The way I feel for you
All the pages in every book
Would simply overflow
And never even begin to define
What's deep within my heart

The only wish and hope I bear
Is that when you and I are near
And you look into my eyes
The meaning will be written there
For you alone to read

That someday soon you understand
The meaning of my tears
Defined for you alone
And recognized by noone else

CROSSING THE LINE

April 1998
_______________

You made love to me
So gentle and fine
When I'm in your arms
We cross that line
Between our love
And ecstasy
Even as thin
As that line may be
You are my love
I know that now
I'll never let you go

FINAL DAYS

July 1980
_______________

We bought ourselves
Some cheese and wine
And went down to
The beach to dine.

We stayed until
The sun was gone.
We made love long
Into the dawn.

We weren't ready
For it to end.
We may never
Do it again.

This final day
We had to share
Turned out to be
One of the rare,
But maybe more
Will come our way.
We'll play as if
They're final days.

FOREVER ONE

February 1988
_______________

Face to face
And side by side
From you I have
Nothing to hide

On and on
And arm in arm
Neither will come
To any harm

Eye to eye
And heart to heart
Forever one
Never to part

GALLANT KNIGHT

November 1987
_______________

My knight in armor
Man of my dreams
See it glimmer
See it gleam
On faithful steed
Rides into my heart
No sorcery
Can tear us apart

Though armor and steed
Are all in my mind
A truer love
I'll never find
For I could look
Most anywhere
And find no better
Because he cares

And I shall always
Return his love
Although his gauntlet
Be a glove
For in my eyes
He'll always be
In shining armor
Just for me
